Job description

Within the CEA, the Molecular Engineering for Health Unit is recruiting for a permanent position a researcher in molecular biology and cellular immunology, in order to reinforce its research activity on the mechanisms and prediction of immunogenicity of therapeutic proteins and antibodies. The objective of this position is i) to set up an approach to generate antigen-specific artificial T cells by cloning and transfection of human T cell Tcrs and ii) to exploit this approach to decipher the diversity of naive and memory antigen-specific repertoires and iii) to use the sequence data produced for the development of personalized medicine (patient stratification).

Candidate profile

  • PhD in Immunology/Molecular Biology with a minimum of 2-5 years of post-doctoral experience
  • Have successfully conducted research in the field
  • Strong scientific background and knowledge of major advances in immunology and biotechnology
  • Proven skills in cellular immunology, receptor cloning and expression, sequencing and data analysis
  • Have already participated in funding research and have the desire to set up a new activity, complementary to those of the laboratory.
  • Enjoy working in a team, supervising technicians and students
  • Be able to report regularly on the progress of your work, and be able to present your data in French and English.
