Context and environment: Institut Curie (https://institut-curie.org) is one of the largest European institutions for cancer research with strong interdisciplinary traditions. It also comprises a hospital specialized in cancer treatments, and therefore disposes of a continuum of expertise from basic research to patient care. The Post-doctoral position will be shared between two research teams of Institut Curie: “New Approaches in Radiotherapy” headed by Yolanda Prezado and “Immune Responses to Cancer” headed by Sebastian Amigorena. These 2 teams are respectively in the CNRS/Inserm UMR3347/U1021 and Inserm U932 units. The position is opened in the context of the following project: “Combination of radiotherapy and immunotherapy to treat brain tumors” elected as a Structuring Project by the Research Center of Institut Curie. This project aims to explore interactions between a new radiation modality and innovative immunotherapies in rat cancer models.

Position: 18 months under the supervision of Yolanda Prezado in Orsay, and Sebastian Amigorena in Paris.

Location: The work will be performed between the two sites of Institut Curie Orsay and Paris.

Candidate profile: We are looking for a qualified and motivated Ph.D. in biology, preferably in immunology. The candidate should have experience in flow cytometry, immunophenotyping, preclinical experiments in rodents preferably rats, cloning, single cell RNAseq analyses and some notion of bio-informatics. Excellent technical skills, strong autonomy and ability to quickly and effectively develop the proposed project in relation with the group leaders and platforms will be essential. Written and spoken English is mandatory.

Salary: Depending on diploma and experience.
