The French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) is a governmental research institute in France and a key player in research, development and innovation in four main areas: defence and security, nuclear energy, technological research for industry, fundamental research in the physical sciences and life sciences.

Our laboratory works on the prediction of immunogenicity of proteins and peptides in humans with the perspective of developing new vaccines and safe therapeutic proteins. Our expertise mainly resides in HLA specificity, evaluation of CD4 and CD8 T cells in healthy donors and T cell immunomonitoring in patients. The laboratory is located in the research center of Saclay, in the south-west area of Paris.

In the frame of a new European project supported by the Innovative Medecine Inititiative we are looking for a post doctoral fellow. The postdoctoral project aims at evaluating T cell response to viral vectors of gene therapy

The candidate should hold a PhD degree in immunology with an important experience in cellular immunology. Experience in AAV handling would be strongly appreciated. Ability to communicate with the team and the supervisor as well as to release data on time and under appropriate formats is requested. The position is available for a young scientist motivated by projects in immunology at the interface between basic and applied research. The position is for 3 years.
