Club IEI description:
Les déficits immunitaires héréditaires (DIH) sont un groupe hétérogène de maladies génétiques altérant le développement ou le fonctionnement du système immunitaire. Elles exposent les patients à des infections récurrentes, des complications auto-immunes, inflammatoires ou tumorales, et nécessitent un diagnostic précoce ainsi qu’une prise en charge adaptée pour améliorer le pronostic.
Le Club des Déficits Immunitaires Héréditaires (IEI) est dédié à l’avancement des connaissances dans le domaine des déficits immunitaires primitifs.
Notre mission est de favoriser la collaboration entre cliniciens, chercheurs et étudiants afin de promouvoir la recherche fondamentale et translationnelle dans ce domaine. Le Club IEI se veut un carrefour pour partager des ressources, échanger des expertises et renforcer notre communauté dans le domaine des DIPH
Inborn errors of immunity (IEI, also called primary immunodeficiencies) are a heterogeneous group of genetic diseases characterized by an impairment of development or function of the immune system. They predispose patients to recurrent infections, as well as autoimmune, inflammatory, or malignant complications, and require early diagnosis and appropriate management to improve prognosis.
The IEI Club is dedicated to advancing knowledge in the field of primary immunodeficiencies.
Our mission is to foster collaboration between clinicians, researchers, and students in order to promote fundamental and translational research in this field. The IEI Club serves as a hub for sharing resources, exchanging expertise, and strengthening our community in the field of IEI.
